Ways to get the most out of your music lessons

Whether you are a book, video, a man of flesh and bone, or online lessons, keep these points in mind to make the most of our studies.

1. Complete and master each section before the next: As you work through your studies to ensure that any new technology or idea, before they conquered to the next. The lessons are planned to build on each other and try to rush through without knowing exactly is it only lead to frustration and wasted efforts.

2. Study, as if in school. Do some homework every night. If all you in 15 minutes and then those 15 minutes. If you do not have time to read / view and then apply the application of their last hour or exercises such as scales and chords. See and read and did not have the opportunity to immediately apply it usually means that you have to learn again the lesson. Take notes. Especially when you watch a video or working with a man. Also, do not worry, all books and sheet music to write.

3. Applying what I learned: listen to others. His church, his family, that spare piano sitting in your favorite store (ask first). Nothing drives a music lesson at home better than a concert. Also expand what we have to work.

These tips work whether your child or an adult. Learn to play an instrument is a wonderful activity.
